Certilytics, Inc. has become aware of a recent phishing email campaign where individuals are impersonating Certilytics staff to falsely conduct alleged pre-employment screens, interviews, and even make fake employment offers. These campaigns are utilizing an email domain named certilyticscareers.com (and potentially others) which is not in any way associated with Certilytics, Inc.
As part of this fake hiring process, Certilytics has been informed that the perpetrators have requested that the candidate either provide them with funds to pay for equipment or sent the candidate an invalid check to be used to purchase equipment. Certilytics always provides new employees with the necessary equipment and will never require anyone to purchase their own equipment.
As a precaution, you should always confirm that you are communicating with Certilytics, Inc. staff that are using the Certilytics.com email domain. No other email domain is used for official Certilytics communications.
Certilytics continues to combat these efforts by reporting to appropriate authorities and domain administrators as they arise. If you have been targeted by this scam, please consider contacting your appropriate local law enforcement agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation at www.ic3.gov.
If you would like to contact Certilytics directly please reach out to Mark Tatum at Mark.Tatum@Certilytics.com or 502.326.4514.
